The Story

Dave Kim is an international electric violinist and DJ. He has performed on many celebrities events including TEDxSF, Oprah, Richard Branson, Tony Hawk, Steve Aoki, Michael Franti, Gary Dourdan, Kenny G, Woody Harrelson, Corey Feldman, Brock Pierce, Randy Zuckerberg, Simon Sinek, Leigh Steinberg, DJ AM, Travis Barker, Hootie and the Blowfish, Third Eye Blind, Dishwalla, Marcy Playground and Everclear. Dave suffered an ischemic stroke August 18, 2016 which left the right side of his body paralyzed. Through positive thinking, gratitude and music, Dave was able to rehabilitate and perform on the main stage of the BottleRock music festival with Michael Franti. This was a milestone in Dave’s career especially having to relearn to play his electric violin. www.davekim.com

Vision

Dave motivates, inspires and coaches stroke survivors, elderly and drug/alcohol addicts by sharing his story and performing at fundraisers, hospitals, rehab and assisted living facilities. He also accepts clients for one on one coaching. He is also the Music Director for the Wave Silent Disco which is a movement to end loneliness through music and ecstatic dance. www.thewavemovement.com
